The owners wanted to make their existing pile of little rooms more open and very modern while seamlessly incorporating older and more traditional elements found in the rest of their historic older home. Beautifully cut white oak millwork and clean lines around windows and doors accentuate the homes' traditional character. The kitchens island houses a motorized stainless steel exhaust hood that dissapears back into the top when not in use. A granite farmhouse sink and anagre wood cabinets finish off the final details.
