Eric J. Hansen Bio
Growing up in a design and building family Eric has worked hard throughout high school, college and on his own projects to develop the skills to be a master carpenter. He has personally renovated and built many new homes for clients and some homes exceeding over 10,000sf. He brings his years of carpentry, estimating, construction supervision and project management skills to every design opportunity for his clients who benefit from this very rare set of skills (or he calls his dad for a quick answer). Eric is a Registered Architect (Wisconsin) and has been an active member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 1995. He has been fortunate enough to have worked for some of the most premier architectural and design / build firms in the Midwest area since 1986, honing his award winning skills. His design work has been featured in HGTV (Home and Garden Television), TLC (The Learning Channel), The Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Southwest Journal, Custom Home and Custom Builder, Spaces, Trends and other national magazines. His design work has also garnered many numerous design awards for various local Midwest Builders and Remodelers including the prestigious ROMA (Remodeler of Merit Award) Award presented by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities and the COTY (Contractor of the Year) Award presented by The National Association of the Remodelers Industry (NARI) for outstanding design projects he has created for clients. Eric loves to cook, run around the “Lakes” with his wife and their dog Cody. When he is not off at soccer, his two kid’s musical lessons or shows he is trying to get ready to test for his 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is also trying to finish off his new studio space above his garage so he can continue creating timeless designs for clients.
